There are several ways to get involved with Courageous Kitchen by donating, volunteering, or participating in our fundraising efforts. If you have questions, start with our FAQ Cheat Sheet.
If you’re interested to donate you can sponsor a class or setup a recurring donation to help a struggling family. You can also become an incremental giver when you indicate your support for Courageous Kitchen on online shopping websites such as Paypal Giving Fund, Amazon Smile, and Ebay for Charity. For other giving options please visit our How to Donate Page.
You can also participate in Courageous Kitchen’s fundraising efforts. We often host cooking classes, dinners, and even food festivals. Your supports at these outings is invaluable and we depend on our supporters to help spread the word or join our organizing team. For more info and subscribe to our events announcements on the Courageous Kitchen Facebook page.
In Kind Donations in Bangkok
If you’re Bangkok based you can make an in kind donation of food stocks (rice, cooking oil, and other staples) at our events and meetups. We also accept donations of hygiene products such as soap, deodorant, shampoo, and sanitary pads (these are always in great need). For these items please make your donation with one of the great organizations we partner with such as Share Soap and Support the Girls.
At this time we do not accept other in kind donations such as used clothing or shoes.
Please note because of the nature of our work we do not provide any short term volunteer opportunities. If you’re in Thailand and eager to help out with what we have happening in Bangkok, please check our Facebook page for the latest events or considering booking our Thai cooking classes. We could always use help sharing our efforts with friends and if you’re interested in starting a fundraiser in your hometown, use the contact form to let us know.
Finally, if you are a chef, doctor, grant writer, or have another specialized skill to offer, use the contact page to send in a volunteer inquiry. All prospective volunteers should review and agree to our child protection policy.
